Presentation by Christian Bauwens, Director Partnerships - Terre des Hommes Suisse:
The
Corporate walk (Marche des Entreprises), a new corporate social responsibility (CSR)
initiative in favour of children
Terre des Hommes Suisse is an independent non-governmental organisation, recognised as a public utility, with its headquarters in Geneva. For almost 60 years, Terre des Hommes Suisse has been committed to children and a solidarity-based development.
We work in partnership with local organisations in 10 countries to defend children’s rights.
We work on a daily basis to ensure that children have access to quality, context-appropriate education, are protected from all forms of violence and are empowered to participate fully in decisions that affect them.
Who Are We - Terre des Hommes Suisse

Having studied International Relations at the University of Genva, I have worked in many capacities (client advisory, analyst, communications officer, management consultant) and in many entities (MSCI, Reuters, HSBC, UN, ProMexico, Berney Conseil, Geneva Tourism, Geneva Airport, Symbiotics); for the last 2 years I have been working asPartnerships officer at Terre des Hommes in Geneva.
Vice President for AIESEC during my university years, I participated in the development and launch of the Prix IDDEA with the JCI (Junior Chamber International). I am a passionate historian, big tennis and sailing fan and world traveller, having visited close to 100 countries and have been many times around the world.
