Last Sunday, a few of our members, along with a social worker and women sand children supported by Au Couer des Grottes, spent some valuable time at the Association's headquarters as well as in nearby parks just chatting and sharing some much needed smiles.
We prepared decorations with dry flowers and had a 'merenda' (An Italian word for a 'snack in the green'). A group of women and children from the Association joined the activity (approx. 10).
The atelier to prepare the decorations facilitated a very emphatic exchange and allowed many of the women and children to experience a rare moment of simple human contact.
