Last Thursday's meeting was a special one. With a new COVID variant and an increase in cases across Europe, we were extremely lucky to welcome Dr. David Nabarro to our meeting. Dr. Nabarro is perhaps one of the leading authorities on Public Health, having trained as a Medical Doctor at Oxford and the University of London before moving to the WHO, as well as the UN's Global Food Security Initiative. Dr. David Nabarro CBE is now Director of the Geneva-based 4SD, and since January 2020, special envoy of the Director General of the WHO on Covid-19.
During the meeting, Dr. Nabarro spoke about the importance of taking a holistic approach to combatting the virus, focusing on vaccinations, better ventilation indoors and wearing masks.
