Dear friends,
The theme for the 2022-2023 Rotary year is: Imagine Rotary.
Jennifer Jones, the first woman President of Rotary International’s 115-year history,
being inspired by the famous song, announced the theme “Imagine Rotary”: We all
have dreams, acting on them is a choice we make, it becomes our responsibility to
make them happen.
- Engage members through meaningful responsibility;
- Encourage members to imagine that Rotary makes big dreams come true, such
as ending Polio and creating Peace;
- Continue the girls’ empowerment initiative: Education and Opportunity for girls.
In the 7th year of our Club, we should cherish what we have and tackle what we
have not yet achieved. Make this world a better place to live for the future
generations through projects, serve this community through actions, and continue to
make this club the best Club that we are all proud of.
I urge you to promise to come back with a 'yes' answer to each of the three questions below by the end of the Rotary year.
- Friendship - Have you spoken to each one of the club members and Rotaract who were present
at the transition dinner?
- Participation - Have you participated not only in the regular and social meetings, but also
volunteered in the club, for the community service, actions, local/global projects?
- Positive Energy - Have you had “fun” in the club?
Having fun is the basis for friendship, imagination and creativity!
I wish all of us a
