The
Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil International (FAAI) is a Swiss charitable
foundation established in 2013 in Geneva. It is committed to protecting
children’s rights, promoting the education and integration of young people in
difficulty and supporting families, in partnership with local actors who share
the same goals.
Alongside
its partners, the FAAI advocates for children’s rights with United Nations
institutions, focusing on children in street situations. In Geneva, the
Foundation supports young people who have dropped out of school in its
vocational training restaurant, the Birdhouse, through a diploma course.

As
Secretary General of Fondation Apprentis Auteuil International (FAAI),
Bénédicte Pansier aims to protect and act for young people in great
vulnerability in Switzerland and abroad, through education and professional
integration, in collaboration with local partners. The priorities of the
Foundation are the fundraising of international projects, advocacy with the
United Nations and the support of a vocational training restaurant in Geneva,
the Birdhouse.
Bénédicte has 25 years of
international experience in fundraising and private sector partnerships (UN
World Food Programme, International Diabetes Federation, and GAVI), marketing
in the private sector, teaching (University of Lugano) as well as hospitality
& training (the Mérieux Foundation). As a committed and client-oriented
individual with strong interpersonal skills and a drive for results, her
interests lie in multidisciplinary partnerships, philanthropy, and
international relations. Her areas of expertise are education, global health,
and community engagement.
