Presentation on Fondation Suisse de déminage (FSD)’s latest Rotary projects

Speaker(s): Our club member Hansjörg Eberle is co-founder and director of FSD. He will give us a brief on the organisations 'mission and outlook.
He will be joined by two additional co-speakers: Patrick Favre and Dirk Lustig.
Patrick Favre is the founder of the RC Neuchâtel-Lac. This club has initiated a Global Grant to support mine victims in Afghanistan about 2 years ago and raised considerable funds, Patrick will give an insider view on the project and lessons learnt from the fundraising campaign.
Dirk Lustig is the President of RC Kyiv Multinational. He has visited several times visited FSD projects and launched recently the initiative for a Rotary-supported demining project in Ukraine. He will talk about his first-hand views on the project, FSD’s work in the field and the challenges ahead.
