International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH), Geneva

Speaker(s): Isabelle Gattiker is the General and Programme Director of FIFDH as the leading international event dedicated to art and human rights.

Before that, she was an award-winning film producer for cinema and television. She regularly teaches film production at the ECAL and HEAD-Geneva. She has an MA in Contemporary History (University of Geneva).

For the past 18 years, the Festival has taken place in the heart of Geneva, parallel to the annual main session of the UN Human Rights Council in March. During 10 days, the FIFDH provides screenings, exhibitions and high-level debates in 65 locations. Nobel Prize laureates Shirin Ebadi, Joseph Stiglitz and Dr Denis Mukwege, as well as Angelina Jolie, Ai Weiwei, Michelle Bachelet,  Edward Snowden (by Skype), and Barbara Hendricks regularly attend the Festival.

The next edition of the Festival will take place from March 5-14, 2021. Isabelle Gattiker will make an exclusive presentation of the programme of the edition and the guests attending.
