Dianova International

Within the last few years Dianova International has been focusing its advocacy efforts on a set of issues that has been widely unrecognized and underfunded: 

1. girls and women’s barriers to access addiction detox programmes, 

2. the lack of gender-sensitive treatment methods and facilities, and

3. the stigma girls and women face due to their condition.

The presentation will provide an introduction on the organization and on and the topic of “Women & addiction”, within the general perspective of Human Empowerment.
